Our Story

Why Master Artist exists

One studio, several ways in — taught by people who still practise the craft they teach.

Master Artist was started by Sabrina Hew, an international recording artist who has recorded and performed on stage in the United States. These days her focus is different: helping children and adults find their own voice — musically, and through art. That's the idea the whole studio is built on.

One studio, several ways in, taught by people who still practise the craft they teach — not just instructors, working artists. Classes stay small and personal, and programmes run in short terms, so your child can try one discipline, switch to another, or take two, without being locked into a long commitment.

It's also where friendships are built. Many of our students grow up together in the studio, meeting week after week, cheering each other on at recitals and exhibitions — the community ends up mattering just as much as the craft.

Why Master Artist

A studio built around real craft

What makes learning here different.

Taught by working artists

Every class is led by someone who still performs, paints, photographs, films or bakes — not just an instructor.

Small, personal classes

Private 60-minute music lessons, art classes of 8 at most, media groups of 6 — every child is seen.

Short terms — try, switch or take two

Programmes run in short terms, so your child isn't locked in. Try one discipline, switch, or add another.

Parents welcome to watch

Sit in on any class, any time. Nothing happens behind a closed door.

A one-stop creative hub

For old and young — one of the widest varieties of art, music and media classes, from voice, piano and orchestra to painting, design, photography and film.

Real rooms, real equipment

Private soundproof music rooms and a media studio with real cameras and lighting — the tools working creatives actually use.

Try any class for RM50

Credited in full against your first month. No deposit, all materials included — so trying us costs nothing.

Recitals, exhibitions & orchestra
